Mō te tūnga | About the role

MSPC specialises in the support of people affected by Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s, and their whanau.  We are looking for an experienced Administrator to lead our office functions and be the first point of contact for the people we support. This permanent part-time role is for 20 hours per week to be worked over 4 or 5 days.

 

Ko wai koe | About You

We are looking for a new team member who has a heart for supporting people with neurological conditions, and the head to ensure all administrative processes and systems are working in the way they should. This includes:

  • Proven experience and confidence with Microsoft software, Xero, and relationship databases (CRM)
  • Excellent attention to accuracy and detail
  • Excellent time management skills, able to multi-task and manage interruptions readily
  • Ability to build positive relationships with MSPC staff, the people we support, and the public
  • Demonstrates initiative and manages own workflow
  • Ideally, experience within a not-for profit environment

MSPC offers individualised assessments, education and advocacy, support groups, and extensive activation programmes especially designed for people with neurodegenerative conditions.  Our charity relies on donations and support from the wider community to deliver our services – which we have been doing for over 60 years!
