The Society will be exhibiting at the Positive Ageing Expo on Monday 29 September from 9.30am – 2.30pm at Papanui High School.
Organised by Age Concern Canterbury in collaboration with Papanui High School to celebrate International Day of Older Persons, this is the eighth Expo and is set to be the biggest yet, with 115 exhibitors already signed up for the day.
Age Concern Canterbury organises the event to provide an opportunity for older people to learn more about the services and support available to them.
There’s a continuous programme of entertainment as well as complimentary cups of tea and coffee and slices, and other refreshments are available for purchase.
Other exhibitors include Police Communications Centre, JPs, hearing organisations, Medication Management, More Mobility, Heartland Bank, Driving Miss Daisy, Absolutely Fabulous Foods and many more, plus numerous social contacts.
